Laurel Custom Grating has been recognized by the Pennsylvania OSHA Consultation Program. Learn more about what this honor means.

Laurel Custom Grating was recently accepted into SHARP. We would like to extend our thanks to the wonderful folks at the Pennsylvania OSHA Consultation Program for this honor. Since our founding in 1983, we’ve been committed to building an exceptional workplace for our employees, who are the beating heart of our company.

SHARP, or the Safety & Health Achievement Recognition Program, was founded by OSHA. The program recognizes small businesses that go above and beyond to ensure employee health and safety.
Only 31 small businesses in the state of Pennsylvania, including Laurel Custom Grating, have been accepted into the program. To be accepted into the SHARP program, businesses must first join an OSHA on-site consultation program. In these programs, OSHA consultants offer advice on addressing and resolving existing hazards at no cost to the business.
To be accepted into SHARP, businesses have to not only participate in an on-site consultation program but also prove that they are committed to worker safety by correcting identified hazards, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive safety and health program, and continuing to work with OSHA consultants if any changes are made to the workplace that could introduce new hazards.
At Laurel Custom Grating, we’re committed not only to providing valuable experiences for our employees but also for our customers. Dedicating time and effort to building a safer workplace means we can deliver the products customers need when they need them the most.
